The critical nature of fireproofing materials requires a product of unquestioned integrity. IIG’s line of Super Firetemp® board has a uniform thickness and consistent fire rating over every square inch of surface. They allow zero clearance to combustibles and contain no asbestos. A high temperature crystalline structure with low water of hydration results in exceptional strength and stability under fire conditions in excess of 2000°F (1093°C).

Super Firetemp L is an inorganic, high temperature insulation and passive fire protection barrier. It can be used as insulation in ovens, processing equipment, pipe supports, precipitators, and other high temperature applications. Super Firetemp L can be used for fire protection of structural supports such as steel or concrete columns, tank legs, electric circuits, ventilation ducts, and other assemblies that require exceptional performance such as walls. Super Firetemp L is non combustible and can be used for the reduction of clearance to combustibles. Super Firetemp L can be V-grooved and installed on tanks and vessels as a thermal insulation and as a fire barrier for compliance to many UL, NFPA, API, and other specifications. It is easily cut and fabricated using standard carpentry tools. Super Firetemp L has been tested in many assemblies using the normal building fire test methods and using the hydrocarbon fire test methods.

Super Firetemp M has been tested in many assemblies using the normal building fire test methods and using the hydrocarbon fire test methods.

SUPER CALSTIK®

Super Calstik® is a modified, silicate-based glue. It sets quickly to provide a high temperature bond for porous insulating materials. Super Calstik is completely asbestos free.

IIG MinWool-1200 Curtainwall Insulation is made of inorganic fibers derived from basalt, a volcanic rock, with a thermosetting resin binder. Advanced manufacturing technology ensures consistent product quality, with high fiber density and low shot content, for excellent performance. Curtainwall insulation is available plain or faced with an FSP (Foil-Scrim-Polyethylene) vapor retarder on one face.

Advanced manufacturing technology ensures consistent product quality, with high fiber density and low shot content, for excellent performance. Safing insulation is manufactured in a standard 4” (102 mm) thickness and is available plain or faced with an FSP (Foil-Scrim-Polyethylene) vapor retarder on one face. Custom sizes are available on special order. It is inorganic and will not mildew or support corrosion.
